Our animal feed pellet mills are widely used to make feed pellets from a variety of raw materials, like soybeans, soybean meal, corn, fish meal, animal acid, additives, whey power, oil, meat and bone meal, corn, and sweet sorghum, etc. Our pellet mills can be divided into two kinds: ring die pellet mill and flat die pellet mill. Ring die pellet mill is for large scale pellets production, while the other kind is mainly for home use and other small scale pellets production.

To make feed pellets with either ring die pellet mill or flat die pellet mill, the raw materials need to be pulverized into powders. The powders of raw materials are put into the feeder of pellet mill, and they will fall down into the area between the die and a series of rollers. And the rollers compress the powders into the holes in the die to form pellets. During this process, strong frication causes the temperature rise to more than 80 centigrade, which in return increases the output rate of pellets. A series of stationary knives will cut the emerged pellets into pre-determined length.
