The raw materials of leaf pellets also include sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, alfalfa and other biomass materials.
To make leaf pellets, these materials need to be shattered into small particles no bigger than 0.25 inches, and the moisture content should be around 15% to make sure the final pellets’ high quality.
Leaf Pellet Machine
Our leaf pellet machine has won both CE and ISO9000 certifications. It is mainly designed for home use. It is flat die designed. The flat die is horizontal with a series of rollers above.
After the well-prepared raw materials are put into the feeder of the leaf pellet machine, they will fall down into the space between the flat die and the rollers. The rollers will press the materials into the holes in the flat die to form pellets. Then a series of knives will cut the emerged pellets on the other side of the flat die immediately into the pre-determined length.
