Oilseeds need to be well processed before extracting for high-quality oil. Oilseeds separators are widely used in oil milling plants to separate hulls from kernels of oilseeds. Our oilseed separating machines have an excellent and efficient separating performance according to different weights and specific gravities of the hulls and kernels.
Features of Our Oilseed Separating Machine
Our oilseed separating machine is characterized by compact structure, low power consumption, easy operation and long service life. The rate of separating hulls from kernels can be adjusted based on our customers’ specific needs.
The machine is mainly composed of a feed inlet, triple-deck auger kernel husk separator, kernel auger conveyor and driving mechanism.
Technical Parameter
Capacity: Huller: 100T/D (24H)
Kernel husk separator: 50T/D(24H)
Husk separating rate: 90%–98% (water content: 2%–10%)
Rate of husk in kernel: 1%–4%
Working Principle of Oilseeds Separating Machine
After the hulled mixture of kernels and shells enter the upper auger, the kernels are transported into triple deck kernel husk separator. As the kernels are heavier and smaller, they pass through the holes in the screen and fall into the kernel auger at the bottom along the sideway. Meanwhile, the still hulled kernels and the hulls are transported to the second stage auger conveyor, where they are processed by the second layer’s screen. Then the residuals are sent to the third screen for the last time separation.
During the whole process, three stages ensure complete separation of the hulls. The kernels are expelled and then transported by the kernel auger conveyor to the next procedure while the hulls are destined for storage. Before storage, hulls had better been put into the hull beater to reduce the rate of kernels in the hull.
