As we all know, to make pellets, the powders of raw materials should content proper moisture. Rotary dryer is widely used to reduce the moisture content of the raw materials before pelletizing. The dryer can work continuously and automatically. It is mainly composed of rotating dryer, screw feeder, cyclone air system, air lock and fan.
After proper quantities of the wet raw materials enter the feeder of the rotary dryer, a rake inside the cylinder distributes the raw materials uniformly for maximum exposure to the current of hot air. Then, the raw materials with proper moisture content are discharged through a star valve at the end.
